Title – Where in the World?

Purpose:

To become familiar with the origins of household items.

Materials Needed:

Make a chart showing item names and countries of origin at the top.

Procedure:

Take a trip to your closest Wal-Mart and begin researching your items. Fill in the chart with the appropriate information.

Time Needed:

One class period for instruction and for constructing chart.

Two evenings allotted for research trip.
