Title – Understanding Ancient Greek Culture

Lesson Summary:
Students will gain a better understanding of ancient Greek culture by preparing group presentations on a certain aspect of ancient Greek culture and explaining its contributions to the modern world.

Procedures:

Assign students to groups of six people.

Have students research various aspects of ancient Greek civilization and culture.

The group should then decide on three aspects that are still present in the modern world.
-
Half of the group will research the ancient aspects, the other half will research the modern world aspects.
-
The group will present their findings in a PowerPoint presentation.
