Title – Cotton Ball Catapult

Grade Level – 7

Materials:

• plastic ruler
• plastic spoon
• plastic fork
• cotton ball
• 2 rubber bands
• 2 paper clips
• 2 or 3 ft. of tape

Procedure:

Have the students build/design their own catapults and see which design works best.
They can design them any way they wish, but they can only use the materials given.
They can even add modifications to the cotton ball, but don’t suggest this or they all will.
