Title - Quick Sand

Objective: to jump or leap on spots and hoops, up and back, avoiding imaginary quicksand. When student picks up the beanbag and goes up and back, they get a point. Unsuccessful students go to the end of the line and the game continues. First team to empty the hoop, wins.

Equipment: hula-hoops, poly spots and beanbags

Formation: Hoops are scattered and students are in lines

Procedure: Class is divided into 3 lines. The first student carries a relay baton (same color as their hula-hoop). If the student lands successfully on spots or in hoops, by jumping or leaping, they pick up one beanbag and return to starting position. First team to empty the hoop wins. Relay batons help the teacher to track the number of students from each team that can go.
