Title – All About Me Books Using a book binder makes this easier and nicer-looking, but it can be done with Duo-tangs, small loose-leaf books, or just brads or string. Make a copy on different colored paper of each of the following pages for each student titled as follows:
MY FAMILY ~ a family tree outline followed by a blank sheet for a portrait of the family MY FAVORITE THINGS ~ a lined page for favorites such as sports, foods, TV shows, games, hobbies, movies, music, colors, school subjects, etc. MY HAPPIEST MEMORY ~ a lined page for writing about a happy event. MY MOST EMBARRASSING MOMENT ~ a lined page MY MOST SURPRISING/UNEXPECTED MOMENT ~ a lined page for an event they never expected such as a surprise trip to Disney World, a new pet, winning an award, etc. WHAT MY STRENGTHS ARE ~ a lined page WHAT MY WEAKNESSES ARE ~ a lined page THINGS THAT MAKE ME SAD ~ a lined page WHAT I HOPE TO LEARN IN (4TH) GRADE ~ a lined page WHAT I WANT TO BE WHEN I GROW UP AND WHY ~ a lined page QUALITIES OF A GOOD TEACHER ~ a lined page AUTOGRAPHS ~ a lined page for classmates signatures After the students have completed them and shared what they wish, collect them to be returned at year’s end to see how they’ve grown and changed.
