I would like to have family/community volunteers that come into our room and read with our students. This could be done in several ways. One way would be by reading to the whole class, another would be by reading to a few of them, or by reading with them one on one.

Costs: time

I hope that by having adults reading to them, the students will see the importance of reading. I also hope that the adults will see the value of education and the importance of reading with children.

I hope that by carrying out this activity I will see an increase in family reading as well we overall classroom reading.
