Title – Musical Sparkle

By – Joanne

Primary Subject – Music

Secondary Subjects – Language Arts

Grade Level – 2-8

This is a spelling game. You can use music and non-music words.

Students stand in a circle or sit on desks. Teacher calls out the first word “Staff”. The first student repeats the word; the next student says S, and so on. The last student repeats the word; the next student says “SPARKLE” and the next student is out! If a student says “Glitter” by mistake, that’s o.k. This is a lot of fun, especially when the “good” spellers get “sparkled” out.
