A. Tests: Sample questions
1. Over half of the earth's water contains salt (oceans), yet it never rains salt water. Why not?
2. Why are there usually more clouds in the sky during the cooler months of the year?
3. Your little brother spilled water on the kitchen floor and you can't find any towels to clean it up. What will you do to get rid of the water as quickly as possible? Name at least three things you will do.
4. Water appears on the outside of your glass of ice water. In your own words, explain what's happening?
5. Why do we need dirt in order for it to rain?

Throughout the unit, I will observe students' attitudes as they engage in experimentation. I will observe their response to God as the designer of the water cycle and the sustainer of the earth and our lives. I will observe their fluency in speaking about the processes of the water cycle. I will observe their ability to infer and determine variables affecting the processes of the water cycle.
