Title – Number Fans Hide and Seek

This is a simple twist on the straightforward sitting-in-front-of-the-teacher showing their number fans activity!

Ask the pupils to spread out over the classroom with their fans. Ask the questions as you would if they were in front of you. Get them to crouch down behind desks etc. while they prepare their answers. When they are ready to show you, they all jump up at the same time and show you the answer.

This is good, as it gets the children physically moving, and you can actually see their answers better as they are spread out more. Can also reduce copying as you can set them out so they will be on their own!
