You can make a class pictograph of student’s birthdays to display on a wall by sectioning off a large piece of posterboard into twelve sections. (six on the left, six on the right). Students use a small circular template to trace their face (one student at a time) in the space that matches their month, and draw their face and hair. The teacher prints the birthdate under each picture. Students should trace their face in order of their birthday. Each month it makes it easy for all to see who will be celebrating a birthday!
