Title – SPOOKY STORIES

By – Griselda

Primary Subject – Language Arts

Grade Level – 1-12

Anticipatory Set: After reading spooky Edgar Allan Poe stories, tell the students that it is their turn to become “creative” writers.

Have students arrange their desks or tables in a circle. All students begin writing the first paragraph of the story. After 5 minutes, students pass their papers to their left. Once everyone has the story of the student next to them, they are given another 5 minutes to add to that story and so on until everyone has the story they started with. The student who started the story should finish it.

The following day you will have so much fun reading the bizarre stories!
