TEKS(Texas): 110.2.15.E Writing/Composition: The student composes original texts. The student is expected to generate ideas before writing on assigned tasks.

Learning Objectives: The Student will be able to write two sentences on a given subject.

Materials: pencils, writing paper, apple

Pre-Activity Preparation: have an apple in the classroom.

Transition: Student will be at assigned tables with paper and pencil.

Procedure:

1. Have apple where all the students can see it.

2. They will be instructed to write two sentences on how the apple looks.

Closure: Check each student’s sentences for describing words about the apple.
