Title: weather on the internet
by waltkappeler

Objective: Students will be able to access the internet to obtain a variety of weather forecasts to compare and contrast them.

Introduction: Students should be observing the weather with any instruments available to them. They should try to forecast their own weather based on clouds seen, barometric pressure and tendency as well as the wind direction. Students can then compare their forecasts with others by using a search engine.

Procedure: To access some of the familiar cites students might try:

www.weather.com
www.wb17.com
www. wb11.com
www.nbc10.com

Closure: Students can compare all forecasts and make note of which forecast was most accurate.
