Objectives: Students will create a travel brochure for an assigned planet.

Materials:

Paper

Crayons, Markers, Colored Pencils

Charts about planet components (gases, solids, etc)

Distance from the sun

Encyclopedias

Other books about planets (Magic School Bus)

Activity:

Students will create a travel brochure for their planet as if humans could travel to them. They must include as many facts as possible and use them in creative ways throughout their brochures. Length of brochure and type of information included may be adjusted for different grade levels.
