Pupils:19

Objectives:

1.The children will gain a knowledge and understanding of feet.

2.The children will practice their language skills through discussion periods.

3.The children will draw around the template of a foot and include facts.

Introduction:

Discuss with the children various points about feet.

Do people insure them?

What would it be like without feet?

Why do we need them?

Development:

Children cut out template of foot.

Inside template they include facts dealing with feet.

eg.We have two of them.

We wear shoes on them.

Some are big, some are small.

Conclusion:

Children write out a conversation between two feet as they go for a walk in the park perhaps.

What would they say to each other?

Would they get on well together?

What kind of punctuation will you use in the conversation?
