Title - Smell

Suggested Age - 12-18 months
Unit: Senses

Objectives:
TCW be able to distinguish between pleasurable and non pleasurable smells

Materials:
scented strips, blindfolds, items that have a distinct smell like bread or garlic

Procedure:
1.Introduce the sense of smell by giving students a few of the scented strips so they can begin using this sense. Ask them what each smells like. Does it smell good, bad?

2.Conduct a smell test with the class by taking students in groups and blindfolding them. Let them smell one of the items you have brought in and guess what it is. Encourage them to describe the smell as best as they can.
