Title – Indian Chief Biographies By – Tricia Moskal Primary Subject – Social Studies Secondary Subjects – Social Studies, Language Arts Grade Level – 5-6 Title: Indian Chief Biographies State Goal: 16.A.2b. – Compare different stories about a historical figure or event and analyze differences in the portrayals and perspectives they present. Narrative: The students will research different Indian chiefs and present their findings to the class. The presentations will be in the form of a biography in which they will need to speak as if they were the Indian chiefs. The students will also compare their Indian chief to a modern day leader.
