Title – Epitaph

After studying the Revolution my students designed an epitaph for the person they researched. The epitaph had certain requirements that they had to achieve. I gave them a cut design from a gray sheet of construction paper. They had to first:

Write Here Lies…

Born….

Died….

Husband or Wife of…

Father or Mother of…

Famous for…

Remembered for….

They are also required to draw 3 pictures depicting their person.

I displayed them on the wall outside my room in a graveyard fashion. Great fun!!!
