Title – Solving Your Own Problems

By – Debbie Haren

Primary Subject – Other

Secondary Subjects -

Grade Level – 2-4

Materials

poster board

markers

contact paper if possible

tape

Activity:

Let’s learn how to solve problems without always going to mom or dad!!

First we need to learn the process to solve problems ourselves!

1. Cool Off

2. Name The Pproblem

3. Think Of Ideas.

4. Choose One.

5. Do It!!

Now have the class write these ideas down on the poster board. Have students make designs on the poster board to illustrate the ideas on the poster board. Such as ice or ice in a glass to show someone cooling off. Or someone taking a cold shower. After they have illustrated all the steps then post the ways to solve problems somewhere everyone can see them and encourage them to use them at home and at school!!
