Title – Olympic Torch

For the olympic theme this summer I had my children make their own torches.

They painted a paper towel roll any design or color.

Then 2 hand prints that were traced onto red, yellow or orange construction paper were cut out for a flame look.

I stapled the hands together to make a round open looking flame. I glued them to the top opening of the paper towel roll, then in the middle I put red, yellow or orange tissue paper.

They looked great and the children loved the whole idea.
