Title - Family Involvement-Curriculum Night

Grade Level - all
Curriculum Night
This night will be set up so that families can come and see what their child will be doing throughout the entire year. If possible it will be held on two different dates to enable more families to attend. We will discuss my philosophy of teaching and talk about the types of projects and units we will be doing during the year. This will also be a time for the parents to share any ideas that they have that could be incorporated into the curriculum and to let me know of any resources that could be used during any of our units.
Costs: The only cost there is for this activity is time and possibly refreshments, but that is optional.
I hope that is activity will provide families with an opportunity to be involved with their child's learning and to truly understand what is going on in my classroom.
I hope to learn more about my families and my students and to provide an idea of what I am going to be doing with their students.
