It's a short one, because I am short on time.

Have students think about advice that they would give to your students for the next school year. Create a banner with "WORDS OF WISDOM" in marker, paint, or other art medium.

Students first "brainstorm" ideas and you edit each one for spelling, grammar, and punctuation. They can then write their advice on a large, long sheet of butcher paper and you can hang it up during the first days of school.

Easy and fast. Fun too!
