Grade Level – 3-5

We have a special end-of-the-year awards ceremony in our classroom. Each child secretly picks the name of a fellow classmate from a hat. Then each child makes an award for the person they chose. Each award is personalized. Example: If the child they chose is good in math, they may make a “Math Whiz” Award. Other awards kids have made are “Great Friend” Award, “Super Athlete” Award, “Remarkable Writer” Award, etc. Then we present the awards individually in front of the class. The kids are more excited to give their awards then get them!
