Title - Back to School Classroom Map Hunt
By - Megan Peterson
Primary Subject - Other
Grade Level - 1-3

After showing the students the classroom, I give them a classroom map that I drew. At the bottom, it lists things for them to do, such as:

1. Go to the place where you would listen to a book on tape.
2. Go to the place where you would pick up your mail.
3. Find the place where you would turn in your spelling words.
4. Find your seat.

At each area, I have a different sticker. They need to place the sticker on the map in the correct place. We later go over this together to see if they found everything. It is a quick and easy way for them to get acquainted with your classroom and procedures.
