I am a student teacher in Arizona in a K-1-2 classroom. Due to the recent events we have started a program in our school that we hope will be picked up nationwide. We are making quilts for the families of the victims of this recent terrorism tragedy (9/11/01) in the United States. There are so many different aspects of education that are covered in this lesson. From art, social studies, science and math. Please check our web site, www.quilt4america.com for further details. Pass this on to any teachers you may know. Your help will make the difference. Thank You!
