2. Class discusses the term "refrain". Class reviews the refrain of the song: Ho, Ho, Ho...Who wouldn't go?

Down through the chimney with a good
St. Nick.

3. Class is divided into three sections (jingle bells, wood blocks, xylophones).

4. Each section is given a part in the refrain to play:

Ho, Ho, Ho, who wouldn't go (jingle bells)

Up on the housetop (xylophones - played with mallets
"skimming" up and down the keyboard of the xylophone)

Click, click, click (woodblocks hit three times on
each word)

Down through the chimney (xylophones)

with a GOOD ST. NICK (everyone plays their instruments three times on GOOD ST. NICK)
