This is something simple that can be done when moving from one lesson to another. It can also be used when physically moving students to another place in the room.

For younger students, the teacher can play a steady beat or rhythm on an instrument. The students are instructed to put what is played in their feet. For older students, the teacher can choose a student to make up their own rhythm for the students to walk to.

This is also great to keep children focused and to avoid down time!!
