Title – Long and Short Slinkys

Grade Level – 1st grade

Objective: Students will demonstrate the understanding of long and short notes by using a slinky.

Procedure: Pair students with a slinky; play a recording that varies from long to short notes. Students will stretch the slinky out during the long note sections and walk back to each other during the short ones. The kids loved it!
