This is not a lesson plan, but rather a simple idea to teach the proper spelling of the word "rhythm."
First point out that "rhythm" has 2 syllables and that "h" lives right in the middle of each syllable.
Then teach the chant:

The rhythm of the chant is this (e=eighth note, q=quarter note):
