The following is a writing assessment idea that could be used for a music class. Tell the students about musical instruments and tell them of all the different groups. Then assign an essay about which instrument they like the best. They must include why they like it and where they have heard it. You may change this plan a little, but I am sure this could help the students think and help them with writing prompts.
