Title - Turkey Hunt
By - Jessie A. Sanders
Primary Subject - Math
Secondary Subjects - Health / Physical Education
Grade Level - Pre-K-First Grade

Items needed - 1 paper turkey for each child.

On the back of each turkey, place a different number. Have the children leave the room, maybe for lunch, bathroom, etc. Hide the turkeys around the classroom. When the children return, have them go on a "Turkey Hunt" to find a turkey. After everyone has found a turkey, have them look on back and name the number. The child with the highest number wins the "Turkey Hunt" and gets a prize. I give all of the other children Thanksgiving stickers for going on the hunt.
