Title: Look what the tooth fairy dropped!
by Debbie Butcher
Grade Level: Pre school - First grade

You can play this game in February (Dental Health Month) by varying slightly the skills taught. Younger children may recognize coins: pennies, nickels, dimes, and quarters. Sticky tack either front or backs of pennies, nickels, dimes, or quarters to a tooth cutout. Older children you may mix denominations of coins on tooth cutouts using fronts and backs of coins as well. Have everyone lay down in a circle and pretend to be asleep. Choose a tooth fairy who will disperse the tooth cutout to a sleeping child. If they answer correctly, they keep the tooth cutout. The child with the most teeth wins a pack of sugarless gum.
