Title - Math Game
By - Debbie Haren
Subject - Math
Grade Level - 3 grade

The object of this game is to get the highest possible number. The numbers are from 1-9. Print these numbers out on index cards and put them in a hat. Have students open their notebook and put down 4 lines to put their numbers as they are drawn out. Ex.
__________ __________ _________ ________

Now the teacher or student will pick out a number and the students have to decide where to put that number. They may not change that number after you pick out another number. After you have pulled out all four numbers ask the students what the highest number possible was with those four numbers. Then ask if anyone had that number. Then ask what the next highest number was. Find out if anyone had that one and so on. The kids love this activity and they learn a lot from it.
