How Much Do You Think...
Grade Level: 3rd
Materials Needed:
pennies, penny sleeves
Instructions: Students
are to guess how much 50 pennies weigh.
They are then to obtain a roll and weigh
it. They will then guess how
many pennies is equivalent to their weight.
After predicting they
are to find out. Finally, have students use
the roll of pennies to find
the weight of things around the classroom.
