Addition, Subtraction, or Multiplication Card War

Printable Version for your convenience!

Title - Addition, Subtraction, or Multiplication Card War
By - Debbie Haren
Subject - Math
Grade Level - 3rd-4th
Have students sort out a deck of cards by taking out the face cards. Then have students pass out the cards to two people. It works best if there are only 2 people to a game. Have enough sets of cards for all the students to play or have different centers set up for students to rotate to. Have students turn over one card at a time. When the two cards are down the two students see who can add, subtract or multiply the two cards the faster. Whoever says the correct answer first wins the cards. At the end of the game the students count their cards and whoever has the most cards wins.
