Title – Postcards from Pluto

The students will learn about the 9 planets, and different descriptions and characteristics of each. After learning about the planets, they will pick their favorite one and be given a 4-by-6 non-ruled index card. Tell them they will be writing a postcard home to their family as if they were visiting or living on their favorite planet. They also draw a picture of their planet on the other side of the “postcard.”
