Developmental Goal: learning different jobs

Materials:
  • pre-made flip chart
  • Paper
  • Crayons

Procedure:

Read the story "Carpenter, Carpenter, What Do You See?". Then, go back to each page and go over the jobs. Ask the children if they would like to do that job. Then let the children draw themselves doing the job that they picked. If they do not want to do any of those jobs, let them draw what they want to be. Then, go around and let them share what they want to be.
