Title - My Alphabet Book
By - Debbie Haren
Subject - Language Arts, Math
Grade Level - PreK and Kindergarten
Give each student pieces of white construction paper. Have plenty of magazines for the kids to pick pictures out of. Have a teacher put the letter A in the center of the first page and then have the students brainstorm about things that start with the letter A. Have the students find pictures that start with that letter in magazines then cut them out and paste them in their alphabet book. This could also be done with shapes. Have students find items that are circles, squares, triangles and rectangles. The math aspect is they can count how many pictures they have on each page.
