Procedure:

Take the stickers and stick them onto the top of the craft sticks to make puppets. Every child should have about three of their own puppets or more. Then sing a song that used those animals in it! Such as the Farmer and the dell or Down on Grandpa’s Farm…

Objectives:

To learn to use puppets as dramatic play items in play. To learn the sounds of different animals on the farm. To sing and learn new songs.

Extension:

Have a puppet show. Have the students use their puppets to make a puppet show. To make it easy have them use one of the songs and everyone gets to play a different animal in the song.
