By - Allison Stancil Primary Subject - Language Arts Secondary Subjects - Grade Level - 2 This creative writing activity is great for door decorations or bulletin boards. I asked the students to write about what they would do if they had a pot of gold. After writing, they edit their work and make any corrections needed. They then either draw a picture under their written work or use the computer to type their work and create pictures. We put these on the door under a banner titled "If I had a pot of gold..." For extra decorations, the students added glitter to precut shamrocks and placed this beside their work as well. They had a great time! E-Mail Allison Stancil!
