Write a memo with following the instructions.
Lesson Objectives:
Students will learn purpose and outline of memo and then follow specific instructions of writing one.
Lesson Activity:
Lecture & Discuss Writing Memos. Students will follow along in packet pages 9a-9c. Exercise on 9c will be completed as a class. The students will then receive a memo from the teacher and follow the instructions (they are to complete Office Task 8-3 in workbook. It is a stimulated business requesting a memo from the student to a fictitious person).
Assessments:
D: Participate in discussion with Writing Memos; F: complete 9a-9c; S: complete Office Task 8-3 memo
Grade:
Complete 9a-9c = 4 points
Office Task memo = 10 points
TOTAL = 14 points
