The importance of correspondence in technical writing

List forms of corresponding through technical writing

Lesson Objectives:
Students will discuss forms of technical writing

Lesson Activity:
The students were assigned to read the chapter entitled Office Communications. They will be given a quiz to assess their epistemology on the chapter. A lecture on the chapter parts of written correspondence and effective correspondence. Students will learn purpose of interoffice envelope and fill out one. Students will then receive their Technical Writing packets. They will complete 1a in the packet. Students as a group will then brainstorm different forms of technical writing.

Assessments:
D: Completion of quiz; F: fill out interoffice envelope; S: brainstorm purposes of technical writing.

Grade:
Quiz = 10 points
1a = 2 points
TOTAL = 12 points
