Title - Acting Biography
Primary Subject - Language Arts
Grade Level - 6-7
This lesson helps the students learn how to write a biography and perform in front of people.
Choose a play that has enough actors or actresses for your whole class. Assign a part to every kid in your class. Once you do that, read through the play with the class. Then, have them write the biography of their character. . You could also tie-in your current grammar lesson. For example, if you are doing a lesson on nouns or pronouns, have the students underline or highlight those words in the biography. You could then perform the play for the younger grades.
