    Anticipatory Set (Lead-In):

    • Student and teacher will discuss campus buildings, locations, and important information that will help guide students to different locations.
    • The teacher will play a brief Photo Story with dialogue and music as an example of what the completed project should look like.

      • This will get the students thinking about ideas on how to implement task at hand
      • This also helps the teacher refresh software applications skills
    • Teacher will provide a step-by-step handout for students to follow along with verbal instruction.

    Step-By-Step Procedures:

    1. Students take pictures of the campus grounds throughout the tour to use for their digital story.
    2. Students create a project folder in MyDocuments to save all images and working files.
    3. Teacher explains the process of creating a digital story to students.
    4. Teacher gives students storyboard handout.
    5. Have students organize photos taken of the campus.

    Closure (Reflect Anticipatory Set):

    • We will view each digital story in class.
    • Teacher with discuss with the student the advantage of having a campus map available to students starting in a new school.
    • Share other ideas that may help the transition to a new school better.

    Assessment Based On Objectives:

Assess students’ finished product by using the a rubric covering the storyboard, overall presentation and final production of the video.

Adaptations (For Students With Learning Disabilities):
