Title - Clipart Collage
By - Elaine Neetz
Primary Subject - Computers / Internet
Grade Level - 7-12
This activity is great to use early in the school year to help teacher and student get more acquainted with each other.
Students are instructed to use MS Word to complete this assignment. A brief lesson is taught on how to use clipart to manipulate graphics on the page.
Assignment: Using WordArt, make your name on the page. Using ClipArt, find 15 graphics that define things about you, such as liking animals, favorite foods, reading, sports, hobbies, etc.
This works well for a Monday or Friday activity, when you need a little "filler" for class time.
If you have access to a color printer in your school, it's really fun for students to see their finalized collage in color!
