Write a letter to the parents telling them you will be teaching about the different types of computers, from old to new. They should help their children bring in at least five different computer images cut out from newspapers, magazines, or copied from the internet, etc.

With the children, show them the different types of computers, and tell them the different parts of the computers (monitor, Keyboard, etc.).

Be sure to bring in your own pictures of different children and adults using the computers, so you can tell the children how different people use the computers and what for (secretary, scientist, teacher, students, artists, etc.)
