Title - Self-Introductory PowerPoint Project
By - Dylan
Primary Subject - Computers / Internet
Grade Level - 6-12

This is a good project to start around the beginning of school, so students can get to know each other and you get to know them as well.

First, make yourself a PowerPoint slide show with a few clip art pictures that apply to something you are or like to do. Then, make a few slides including a ending and a main slide (other slides will contain information about you). Once you are done with your own slides, explain the project to the class and show them your PowerPoint slides. Make sure you tell them to use many colors and whatever they think describes them best. Allow the students to scan pictures of themselves or take pictures with your own camera if you have one. If you don't want to deal with pictures, clip art works fine as well.

On the first slide, make sure they have a heading that stands out. On mine I put "She's Almost All Grown Up" and my name. The second slide should contain some of the same information that could be found on a birth certificate or driver's license like full name, nicknames, born in, raised in, parents, best friends, favorite foods, favorite book, etc. The information on the second slide might take more than one slide, which is okay. On the third or fourth slide have the students tell what they like to do for fun, including the activities they like to do such as hobbies, talents, and sports. The last few slides should be about their life or their friends or even school. Grade the projects on creativity and effort.
