Group Invention Activity Sheet

Directions:

1. Your invention should use at least 15 of the items found on the sheets that follow.

2. Your invention should solve a problem or make something easier to do.

3. Before beginning, you should brainstorm ideas for your invention and write those ideas down.

4. Everyone in your group should agree on the design and purpose of your invention.

5. Each member of the group must contribute to the project.

6. When you have decided on an idea, begin filling out the sheet below.

7. When you are all done, fill out the last section that asks what each person in your group did.

8. You should color only the components that you use for your invention.

9. Cut out the components you want to use and glue them onto the butcher paper, as your invention would

appear.

10. You must put the name of the invention across the top of the butcher paper and all your names on the

upper left side of the paper.

11. When you present to the class, your group must be able to explain how it works by pointing to the

picture.

12. Have fun, be creative, work quietly, quickly, and work TOGETHER!


Remember that quality of work is better than quantity of work, so write clearly and thoughtfully.
