Topic:  Cloud Watching
Objectives:  To observe cloud shapes and movements
Materials:  drawing boards, light blue or gray paper,
      white chalk or pastels
  

Directions: On a partly cloudy day, walk to a park near school.
Have students lie on their backs to watch the clouds
move and to look at their shapes. Discuss with the
students what they observed. Give each student a
drawing board, piece of paper and chalk (pastel).
Each student selects a cloud to draw . Encourage
students to select a cloud that looks like something
other than a cloud to them.
