Mix the milk and food coloring in a bowl and stir well. The more food coloring the darker the shade of pink. The child may use the paintbrush to brush on the colored milk to the heart. Lay flat to dry. It will be sticky while drying. Once dry the heart will be shiny and have a raised texture. Salt may also be sprinkled over wet painting to add a different texture.
